Getting Out to Town
The road from
Highway 19 to Zeballos is a BC Forest Service access road, usually
well-maintained gravel, but travellers will want to have good tires and
carry spares. Repair service is available in Zeballos.

is 2.5 hours
170 km paved - Highway 19
42 km - active logging road
Prepare your vehicle (BCAA, safety equipment, chains for winter weather,
good tires, 4x4 if possible).
Flying
Air Nootka flies between
the communities in our District (Gold River, Tahsis, Zeballos and Kyuquot).
They are based in Gold River.
